We at Cylch Meithrin y Llewod Bach extend a very warm welcome to you and your child.
From the very first day to the time when your child is ready to leave the Cylch Meithrin and progress to Primary School, we want to ensure that your child receives every opportunity to socialise and develop well with us.
The Cylch aims to provide every child with an opportunity to benefit from early years services and experiences through the medium of Welsh.
We believe that play is fundamental to the physical, emotional, linguistical, social and intellectual development of children. We will ensure every possible opportunity to learn through play.
The Cylch Meithrin is managed by a committee of parents, prospective parents and members of the local community.
About eight members will be needed on the committee and it will be necessary to elect three chief officers. Committee members are elected at the annual general meeting and it would be beneficial if all parents could attend.
The term after your childs third birthday, he or she will attend the Primary School’s Nursery Unit for half a day.
The session will be held during term time Monday to Friday
Morning 8:45am – 11:45am £15 per session
Afternoon 12:45pm – 3:15pm £12 per session

The Cylch Meithrin has a behaviour management policy which ensures that physical punishment is not used in controlling the behaviour of any child. If necessary, the Cylch Meithrin will follow a consistent programme of behaviour management in accordance with your child’s age, development and needs.
The Cylch Meithrin welcomes all children of the appropriate age regardless of race, disability, language, religion, social status or family situation.
In accordance with its equal opportunities and special needs policy, the Cylch will ensure that your child receives the same opportunities as every other child in the Cylch. A copy of this policy can be seen in the Cylch.
Please feel free to discuss your child’s development or any concerns you may have with the leader. If you wish to complain, please contact the chairperson. If the matter is not resolved, a formal letter should be sent to the Committee. Should the matter remain unresolved, you may contact Heulwen Jones, our Developmental Officer.
